The contrast between the serene landscapes of China and the frenetic pace of Bangkok was exhilarating. Navigating the chaotic yet captivating streets, sampling Pad Thai from street vendors, and exploring opulent temples like Wat Arun, revealed a completely different facet of Southeast Asian culture.

Then, the adventure led me to the breathtaking landscapes of New Zealand’s South Island. From the dramatic Fiordland National Park, with its towering fjords and cascading waterfalls, to the turquoise waters of Abel Tasman National Park, New Zealand provided a stark contrast to both the bustling cities and serene ancient towns experienced earlier.
